GRNOG is managed by a four-member board. The board is elected by the GRNOG members for a two years service period.

Currently the GRNOG board consists of:

Board members are responsible to:

  • Manage all GRNOG administrative matters
  • Maintain the GRNOG tools and infrastructure (eg mailing list, website etc)
  • Organise GRNOG meetings and events
  • Represent GRNOG wherever necessary
  • Inspire and promote cooperation and discussions among GRNOG members
  • Manage the social media of the group

(issue calls for presentations, evaluate proposals, arrange agenda, book venue, catering and social events)

As far as GRNOG meetings are concerned, the board is responsible to:

  • Issue calls for presentations
  • Invite keynote speakers
  • Evaluate presentation proposals and outline the agenda
  • Locate and book suitable venues, arrange catering and social events
  • Seek sponsors
